Meet the Team

Anita Smith

 Anita is a Clinical Psychologist who brings a down-to-earth, compassionate, and real-world approach to therapy. She believes the therapeutic space should be one where it feels safe to laugh, cry, and explore new ways of relating to yourself and others.


No two people are the same, and Anita tailors therapy to fit you, not the other way around. She draws on a wide range of evidence-based approaches and has extensive experience in workers’ compensation and insurance matters, including assessment, treatment, reporting, and medico-legal evaluations.


 Anita's key passions lie in supporting people through trauma, PTSD, grief, and anxiety. She’s also an EMDR Consultant with the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA), a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor.


Anita works out of our North Fremantle office on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, and out of our West Perth office on Tuesdays.


Meg Waters

Meg is an experienced, compassionate, and genuine Clinical Psychologist who offers a wide range of assessment, report writing and counselling services for those over 18 years. She has worked in private practice, forensic settings and as a school psychologist over the years. Her warm and friendly approach helps clients feel safe and at ease from the initial session. 


Utilising collaborative, evidence based treatments such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to bring about meaningful change.  She also has extensive experience with workers' compensation and insurance assessment, treatment and reporting, as well as medico-legal assessments.  

While Meg is happy to work with a broad range of presentations, her specialities include anxiety management, parenting support and trauma processing. 


Meg also has two dogs, Alan and Lynn, who both complicate and brighten her life!


Meg is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and is a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor.  She also works as a Clinical Supervisor at The University of Notre Dame Australia.


Meg is the Clinical Lead of our West Perth office, where she works from Monday to Thursday. She works from our North Fremantle office on Fridays.

Will Lutton

   Will brings a modern, gentle approach to therapy as a Registered Psychologist. He is passionate about supporting adolescents, teenagers and adults. He understands that your mental health is one of the most important parts of your life and the foundation of relationships, as well as emotional, social and physical wellbeing. 


Working from a progressive, strength-based lens, Will integrates a range of evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, Schema Therapy, and ACT. He tailors therapy to each individual, creating a safe and collaborative space where growth feels both achievable and sustainable.

Although Will enjoys working with a wide range of clients, he specialises in depression, stress management, trauma, adjustment and burnout. He also supports adolescents to develop into healthy, happy, and unique young adults. He understands that we can all find ourselves swimming against a current at times, and that we greatly benefit from genuine support to reach the shore. 


Will is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA).


Will works out of our West Perth office on Mondays and Tuesdays, and our North Fremantle office Wednesday to Saturday.


Martina Sackmann

Martina is a Clinical Counsellor and Clinical Hypnotherapist who brings with her a wealth of extensive experience working with individuals, couples and families, children, and teenagers, through mindful connections and with a person–centred approach. Martina places strong value around relationships and communication, exploring therapeutic goals to facilitate motivation, being more present and finding insight into self, growth with fulfilment in life.


Martina is trained in working with individuals, couples  and families, and she works across the lifespan, from children to older adults. Her specialities included ADHD management and coaching, couples therapy, Family Systems, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Hypnotherapy, TimeLine Therapy, NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP), Trauma Therapy, Solution-Focussed Brief Therapy and grief and loss.

While Martina is experienced with a large range of presentations, she specialises in ADHD management and coaching (including parent coaching), Couples Counselling and Family Systems, trauma, anxiety, phobias, burn out and working with teenagers.


Martina is a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), the Guild of Australian Hypnotherapists (GoAH) and EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA).

Martina is registered with most private health insurers, including HBF, BUPA, Medibank, HCF, ARHG and AHM for private health rebates for individual and couples counselling and family systems work, and with HBF for Hypnotherapy. 


Martina works out of our North Fremantle office from Monday to Thursday, and alternating Saturdays.

Felicity Watt

Felicity is a Registered Psychologist with experience in counselling and assessment for children and adolescents. 

She is passionate about early intervention and believes that exploring challenges early helps young people reach their full potential - socially, emotionally, and academically. Felicity’s approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that every child and adolescent deserves to feel understood, supported, and empowered. 


 She draws on evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and tailors her approach to the unique needs of each young person and their family. 

  Felicity also offers comprehensive cognitive, educational, and developmental assessments, helping to identify strengths and challenges, inform effective interventions, and support meaningful engagement at school and home. 


While Felicity works with a broad range of presentations, she has a particular interest in education, learning, and school readiness. 


Felicity is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi) and is a Board Approved Supervisor. 


Felicity works out of our West Perth office on Saturdays.

Brittne Lee

  Brittne is a Registered Clinical Psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience providing counselling and therapy to adults. Brittne brings a holistic and fresh approach to her therapy having lived and worked in various countries. Her friendly and genuine nature helps you feel right at ease, and she works with you from a client-centered approach to tailor therapy to your needs. She believes in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, empowered and supported in your journey.


Brittne utilises various treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, Somatic Psychotherapy, Focusing and Ego State Therapy. She also loves bringing creativity into her sessions as sometimes there are no words that can express what needs to be said. 

 While Brittne is happy to work with a broad range of presentations, her specialties include trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief/loss, depression, self-esteem, attachment issues and stress management. Brittne believes in helping resolve the underlying issues so clients can learn not just how to manage their symptoms but to heal from them as well. 


Brittne is a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA). She is also a certified therapist and consultant with EMDR International Association (EMDRIA).


Brittne works out of our North Fremantle office on Tuesdays.

James Somerville Brown

  James is a warm, direct, and down-to-earth Provisional Psychologist who works with adults and couples. He places strong value on the therapeutic relationship, believing that meaningful change happens when clients feel supported and genuinely understood. Clients often describe James as calming, insightful, and able to bring just the right amount of humour into the room, while also offering challenge when it’s needed.


James draws on evidence-based therapies including Schema Therapy, CBT, ACT, and the Gottman Method for couples. He works flexibly with these approaches, tailoring sessions to each individual or couple, and collaborates closely with clients to deepen insight and navigate life’s challenges. He also has a strong interest in attachment theory and sexology, which he integrates to support emotional connection, secure relationships, and sexual wellbeing. His practice is informed by ongoing research, clinical experience, and professional development.

  James has worked across government and mining sectors, including remote travel for critical incident response and mental health support in high-pressure environments. He is experienced in assessment and report writing, including with the workers compensation scheme. He is particularly passionate about supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, sexuality, and relationship difficulties.


Outside of work, James enjoys the gym, cooking, four-wheel driving, camping, and spending time outdoors. 


James is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi), he works from our West Perth office on Thursdays.

Jo Chapman

  Jo Chapman is an accredited Clinical Counsellor with a knack for helping people cut through life’s noise and find their way forward. With years of experience, she’s worked across all kinds of settings, supporting teens (12+), adults and couples who want to reconnect.


Jo’s superpower? Making the tough stuff feel manageable. She helps clients navigate stress, anxiety, low mood, trauma, anger, relationship challenges, self-esteem hurdles, and life’s many curveballs. Her style is down-to-earth and practical, giving people tools they can actually use (not just theory) to create real change.



  In the therapy room, Jo builds a safe, supportive space where people feel genuinely heard and understood. She’s all about empowering clients to grow, reflect, and build resilience. Whether she’s drawing from Humanistic Therapy, CBT, Narrative Therapy, Strength-Based Counselling, or ACT, Jo adapts each session to fit the person sitting in front of her.  


Jo's approach is collaborative, compassionate, and always focused on what works for you. Jo sees counselling as a chance to step into greater self-awareness, confidence, and clarity — with a guide who’s warm, professional, and always in your corner.


Jo is a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and works out of our West Perth office on Wednesdays.

Getting to the West Perth office

Our new office is on Level 1. The entrance is at the rear of the building (follow the red path). There is currently no signage outside or in the lobby - we are working on this...but having to jump through some hoops. There is paid street parking available (free on Hay St) or a number of parking garages.
